NAANY thousands of people—some IVI from as far away as Liverpool and Sheffield--have travelled by coach to the hop gardens of Whitbread and Co., Ltd., at Beltring, Paddock Wood, near Tunbridge Wells, since they were opened to the public on August 30. On two days last week 140 coaches made the journey.
Facilities at the gardens include a large parking ground and a refreshment marquee. The gardens are expected to close early next week.
