Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE first of six new-style directories measuring

10 in. by 12 in. has been produced by the Road Haulage Association and lists member hauliers in London and the Southern and Home Counties.

The new size provides the opportunity to adopt larger type and a clearer display of information than in the smaller regional directories produced by RHA areas. This, together with the way in which the contents are sectionalized, makes the guide very quick and easy to use.

Accompanied by an explanatory map, the entries are listed geographically by counties and towns and then separately by functions, showing the names of operators under the specialized services they provide. These two sections are supplemented by an alphabetical index of hauliers' names.

A further five directories will eventually complete the coverage of the whole country.

Each RHA member in the Metropolitan and South Eastern and Southern areas is being sent a copy of the new directory. Additional copies are available to members at 15s. each and to nonmembers at £2 each, post free; applications accompanied by the appropriate amount should be sent to the secretaries of either of the two areas. The addresses are Evelyn House, 62 Oxford Street, London WI, and 86 High Street, Winchester, Hants. H.B.C.
