For highspeed automatic work the S.126 is marketed When coupled to the Mark X BH four-stage combined weld and heat control, this gun is capable of up to 2,500 welds per hour on light-gauge material. Just being put into production by Portable Welders is an ac. arc welder, the Fararc Series IV, which weighs less than 100 lb. yet has a continuous rating of 200 amp. The set has a dual-wound primary for connection to 240 V or 415 V supply and a dual-wound variable secondary giving 50 to 180 amp. • at 100 V output and 110 to 250 amp. at 50 V output. The welding set has glass-silicone insulation and is cooled by a fan. It is designed particularly for maintenance and site jobs where power combined with light weight is required.
