ACLERK who stole £6 8s. 8d. belonging to his employers, Barton Transport, Ltd., was stated at Melton Mowbray to be in a position of trust, handling between £600 and £700 a week, although his net wages were only £9, " He was a conscientious employee who worked a considerable number of week-ends but was not paid overtime," said Mr. P.
