Municipal Passenger Transport Association have now been announced. In section one, for administrative and supervisory staffs, the first prize was won by Mr. Henry Miller, senior clerk for Doncaster Transport Department.
Second prize was awarded to Mr. Harold McDonald, statistical and investigation assistant of Leeds Transport Department. Mr. James Stokes, traffic officer (personnel) of Coventry, won the third prize.
In section two, for operating staffs, Mr. Harold St. Vincent Beechey, a London Transport. conductor instructor, won the first prize, and second prize went to Mr, D. Earle Lock. a London Transport conductor. Mr. Roland Wason, West Hartlepool Corporation driver, gained third prize.
