UNION officials and the management of East
Yorkshire Motor Services met last week in an effort to settle the dispute over bonus payments which a few days ago kept some EYMS buses off the road. Later a Transport and General Workers' Union official said there had been a full and frank discussion and that now the problem was going before the BET directors. The bonus dispute was still a vital issue.
The trouble was sparked off when men refused to operate a service to run in conjunction with Hull Corporation's No. 17 route. They are demanding a similar bonus to that received by corporation drivers and conductors.
