AMOBILE radio offering up to 12 channels has been introduced by Stomo Ltd. Known as the Stomophone 600, the new set is fully transistorized. Its current consumption is less than that required for one parking lamp. It can be used in any vehicle regardless of battery polarity and voltage and 612or 24volt operation is adjusted 'simply by turning a voltage selector. A safety device prevents damage from accidental connection to incorrect voltage. The adjustable voltage operation enables the equipment to be readily transferred between vehicles.
