'will • four cases involving 17 vehicles still undecided, 72 per cent, of the vehicles offered in units without premises in list R.4 had by Tuesday evening been sold.
Out of 123 general-haulage vehicleonly units (429 vehicles) offered, 90 units (298 vehicles) had been sold. All tenders had been rejected for 29 units (114 vehicles) and four cases . (17 vehicles) were outstanding. Tenders had been accepted for ,two vehicle-only contract-hire units (42 vehicles) and all tenders had been rejected for one unit (three vehicles).
Results of the sale of the 25 units with premises (454 vehicles) in list R.4 were not known, Tenders for them did not close until October 27.
Final figures for. list S2 were: Sold, 12 units (258 vehicles); all tenders rejected, five units (606 vehicles); no bids, six units (267 vehicles); total, 23 units (1,131 vehicles). Thus, only 23 per cent, of the vehicles have been sold, but the result is ne worse than the ustial for units including property,
