BETWEEN 1951 and 1953, German vehicle exports rose in value by Dm. 438m. This information is given in "German Competition," a new publication of the Credit Insurance Association, Ltd., Staple Hall, Stone House Court, Bishopsgate, London, E.C.3.
It points out that Germany's exports are dependent upon the prosperity of Western Europe, whereas Britain relies upon the Commonwealth. Britain's European market could, however, be expanded.
