Besides tractive units and rigids there is a 40ft Challenger TIR semi-trailer on the stand. Plated at 29.5 tons gross trailer weight for operation up to 34 tons gcw, the trailer has conventional 1-beam main-member and cross-member construction.

The trailer is mounted on ROR widespread running gear with multi-leaf springs and uses 22500 series axles and 10.00 — 20 tyre equipment. Bogie plated weight is 20 tons.

The overall trailer height is adjustable over 9in. At maximum .height, capacity is 2716 cu ft, at the lower position 2470 cu ft, overall height 3.92 metres. Unladen trailer weight is under 6 tons.
